Raj Mathai of NBC Sports reported Wednesday that Swalwell has reported the incident to Capital Police.
“NEW: Disturbing threat against member of Congress. has notified . @Swalwell tells me: “My family and staff are deeply disturbed by the threat of execution… apparently by former 49er Bruce Miller. Threats of violence are unacceptable.”
Bruce Miller, 35, was a seventh-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers and he played for the team through 2015. The fullback then spent four years out of football before spending time with the Jacksonville Jaguars.Swalwell did not comment on the threat he received again on Wednesday.
