One witness told police Dr. Nwabuko was laughing at and mocking the patient for faking her condition and continued hitting the patient until the nursing staff stepped in and broke it up.
The Leesburg Police Department responded to the incident Wednesday around 8:15 a.m.
During the second time, the victim's IV line was ripped out of her left arm and she bled all over her face and chest area, the affidavit said. She also sustained significant swelling, redness, and bruising to her eye.
