, the first Texas outpost of the Miami-based restaurant, is a posh, pastel-colored enclave for Anglophiles looking for English-inspired breakfast, brunch, and afternoon tea. Taking up home in the former East Hampton Sandwich space at ROD, Little Hen boasts nearly 2,700 square feet of blooming bouquets, floral prints, and highly styled tabletops along with a 1,050-square-foot champagne garden. Design details include chandeliers, velvet chairs and lace-embroidered cushions.
“We’re thrilled to be expanding Little Hen into Houston, which, until now, hasn’t been home to an elevated breakfast boutique,” said Little Hen founder and owner Enrique Altamirano, who has locations in Miami and Weston, Fla. “At Little Hen, we offer an eclectic European-inspired menu with American classics and Mexican specialties, along with an elevated tea service into a fully immersive experience that is really unlike anything else.
Little Hen will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Reservations will be available via Resy.com.
