Fast-forward to Jan. 16, 2018, and Eminem -- along with his lawyers -- received questioning for his "Framed" lyrics, as well as his BET Hip Hop Awards freestyle. On "Framed," Em spewed lyrics about Ivanka Trump, rapping: "Donald Duck's on, there's a Tonka Truck in the yard/ But dog, how the f--- is Ivanka Trump in the trunk of my car?"
According to Leopold, specifics in the discussions were redacted, as Em's case was later marked "non-referred" by federal prosecutors, who deemed that the rapper's lyrics didn't pose any threats to Trump's safety.
