THUNDER BAY — A man was taken to hospital after being rescued from the Kaministiquia River near the James Street Swing Bridge.
Thunder Bay police said emergency services were called to the scene just after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, with inital reports indicating that a man had jumped or fallen from the bridge. Police said the man was brought to shore and was taken to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for further evaluation and treatment.
