Ellen DeGeneres has paid tribute to DJ Stephen ‘tWitch’ BossThe beloved star most notably appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show, and also enjoyed a hugely successful dance career.Taking to Instagram short after, DeGeneres shared a sweet photo of the pair backstage while remembering her close friend.‘He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him.
‘Please send your love and support to Allison and his beautiful children – Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia.’Boss came to fame in 2008, competing in So You Think You Can Dance – where he eventually ended as a runner-up. He went on to become a judge on the talent show in 2022, and also starred in Step Up and Magic Mike XXL.He was named executive producer from 2020 and remained in place until the series ended earlier this year.
Boss’ wife confirmed his death in a statement to People, writing: ‘It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us. Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. ‘He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.’‘To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt.‘We ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children.
