is built in the mold of a modern-day tight end with the athleticism and hands of a perimeter target. While it remains to be seen where Higgins will ultimately find his niche on Sundays, his versatility and constant hunger for improvement will provide a unique weapon at the game’s highest level.
“I’m a guy that can plug into a lot of spots,” Higgins said. “In the slot, on the outside, in the backfield, whatever the label is… I’m going to play outside of that box.” “You learn to operate like a professional early on [at Stanford],” Higgins said. “I learned to utilize time to my advantage, take care of business when it needs to get done—focus on the important things whether it was school or being the best football player I can be.”
