Eleven people died on Ohio roadways during the two-day July 4 holiday period, says Ohio Highway Patrol, including a triple fatality in Columbus
reported shortly after 8 p.m. on the Fourth of July in the 3300 block of Refugee Road on Columbus' Southeast Side.
During the two-day holiday this year, troopers responded to 249 crashes and helped 1,067 motorists. They made 133 arrests for impaired driving and 96 for drug-related charges.
