The company didn’t go into many specifics, but the changes are immediately apparent as the digital instrument cluster is now flanked by four new displays. The outer two act as digital side mirrors, while the inner displays show vehicle information and infotainment settings.Besides the new screens, the concept features revised switchgear and more modern air vents. The changes look good, although it might be a bit awkward using touchscreens located in front of the steering wheel.
While the car is a concept, it helps to paint a picture of what an updated SOLO could look like. In effect, the next-generation model could combine the concept’s interior with the exterior styling changes featured on theThe current SOLO starts at $18,500 and features a 17.4 kWh lithium-ion battery, which provides a range of up to 100 miles on a single charge. The battery powers a 56 hp electric motor and this enables the three-wheeler to accelerate from 0-60 mph in a little under 12 seconds.
