The man left through a fire exit door
He was traced by a staff member 20 minutes after leaving the facility, through a fire exit door.
Crookston and Pollok Community, a local Facebook page, asked people to “keep their eyes peeled” for the resident at 3.09pm. They added: “He is described as tall and walking with a stick. He's quite vulnerable. That's the only info I have from the police at present. If seen, call police on 101. Thanks.”They said: “A resident left the care home via a fire exit which immediately triggered an alarm.“Staff immediately carried out a head count to identify who was missing and four members of staff proceeded to follow his route to retrieve him.
“A staff member found him and brought him back to the home safely within 20 minutes. All relevant authorities were notified, and policies were followed.”
