A Georgia man is in an Alabama jail after “approximately 50 pounds of high-grade marijuana, 25 pounds of various THC candies, cereals, edibles and over eight pounds of fentanyl” were found during a traffic stop in Baldwin County.
“Payweed” and “Butterweed” candy bars mimicking Payday and Butterfinger candy. “Reefers” cups instead of Reese’s. THC Snickers and “Thcwix” bars.
According to information released by the sheriff’s office, a deputy assigned to the BCSO special operations unit pulled over a pickup truck with Georgia plates for an unspecified traffic violation. The stop took place Wednesday near the 34-mile marker on northbound I-65, which would put it just northeast of the causeway across the Mobile-Tensaw Delta near Bay Minette.
