Pro-choice and anti-abortion activists demonstrate in front of the Supreme Court Building earlier this month. Expect divisions to deepen if Roe is repealed., it’s startling. While the opinion is a draft, its strong wording suggests Roe’s days are limited, a new reality that would be detrimental to women’s health and the ailing civic health of our country.
We value the privacy of women to make their own decisions based on their beliefs and circumstances. And we understand that those who support abortion rights are raising concerns about the government making decisions about women’s bodies, and, in turn, forcing unwanted pregnancies in a country that fails to provide adequate support for mothers and families.
