At an announcement of federal funding for affordable housing in Hamilton last week, Trudeau unloaded on Poilievre in what will obviously be a continuing attack aimed at reversing the recent Liberal slide in the polls.
Trudeau said Poilievre’s rhetoric that “it’s all terrible, it’s all broken” is “dangerous for Canadians” which is why “I won’t be stirring up anger … I will stay focused on solving the challenges Canadians are facing, rather than exploiting them for political gain.”Article content It’s certainly valid for Trudeau to argue Poilievre’s commentary about his government is unrelentingly harsh and negative.
