It is the only Scottish city to appear on the list
A travel blog has shared its list of the '10 coolest places to live in the UK' and Edinburgh is among the cities included.
The majority of cities on the list are located in England, with Edinburgh, Belfast, and Cardiff being the only exceptions. Coming in at number one on the list is London, which the blog called a "huge, sprawling city on a global scale", while giving particular praise to the Dalston, Bethnal Green, and Walthamstow areas.
It singled out Leith as a top place to live, praising it for being "near the centre but still a good place for a party, with an interesting mix of history and modern living on offer". The website also named its top three 'pros' and 'cons' of living in Edinburgh, praising its beauty, history, and "great culture" including the Fringe.
