This weekend, 150,000 people per day are expected to attend Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas. But if you can't make it to the desert, don't fret. The dance mega-fest will also be making history in the metaverse, as the first festival to stream via the gaming platform Roblox.
Roblox will also host a space for fans to engage with the metaverse during the festival at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend. As Insomniac World Party is a"persistent" space, it will be open indefinitely, with other events are planned for the space in the future. The intention behind adding so many games and so much music to this metaverse is to give fans something to do inside Insomniac World Party between events.
