EastEnders fans in tears as flashforward clue shows devastating Lola Pearce twist
EastEnders fans have been left in tears as this year's special Christmas episode appeared to confirm Lola Pearce's death in a flashforward clue on Monday.
Lola had hoped the cancerous tumour could be removed but the surgery was unsuccessful and she was told in devastating scenes that she has terminal cancer. In the moments that unfolded at the Queen Vic, the group of women all stood round in shock in a festive-looking pub and looked down at a mystery man lying on the floor - with it unclear whose body it is and what’s happened.
However soap watchers were left distracted during the scenes as they spotted another devastating clue in the scenes as a picture of Lola was seen on the bar next to Linda, appearing to confirm that Lola will die before Christmas.
