A week after being moved out of a national television slot, the Eagles experience another change to their schedule.
Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni and Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson will see their teams play in afternoon now that the NFL has "flexed" the game away from Sunday Night Football.The NFL announced Monday that the Eagles’ Nov. 3 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars would be “flexed,” meaning it will move from the 8:20 p.m. Sunday Night Football slot to a 4:05 p.m. kickoff. The new 8:20 p.m. game will feature the Indianapolis Colts and the Minnesota Vikings.
Before the season began, the Eagles were slated for five primetime games, tying them with eight other teams for the second-most, behind only the Jets, Dallas Cowboys, and San Francisco 49ers, who each had six. The Eagles’ still have five games are still in national television windows, including a stretch of three in a row that starts Week 10, when they face the Cowboys at 4:25 p.m.; Week 11, when they host the Washington Commanders on Thursday Night Football at 8:15 p.m.
