That question netted the bronze for a team from Durham College in a nationwide graphic design competition.
Ina Jablonski, Megan Scott and Nicole Tracey reached third place in the Packaging Association of Canada’s Global Student Packaging Competition. The three graphic design students were among several teams tasked with reimagining the Pringles can with a more inclusive and accessible design.“It’s a tubular package that expands at the sides when in use to allow the consumer to easily access the chips inside,” said Tracey. “We started with generating several ideas for how the can would be different without losing the integrity of the shape.
“I have learned to think critically about every detail that goes into a design,” added Tracey. “It helps to really think about the choices you make and doing the research on the target market and what their needs are is also very important.”If you have found a spelling error, please, notify us by selecting that text and pressing
