- Mining company Dundee Precious Metals announced today it has entered into an investment protection agreement with the Government of Ecuador for the Loma Larga project.
The feasibility study indicates that Loma Larga has the potential to produce an annual average of approximately 200,000 gold equivalent ounces in its first five years of operation. DPM said the terms of the IPA stipulate that, in order to develop the Loma Larga project, the company will have to invest greater than US$400 million during the construction and production phases of the project.
