The Wellington Dukes came back with a vengeance to beat the Trenton Golden Hawks 4 to 1 and tie their conference championship series 1-1. Matheson Mason, Luke Strickland, and Edward Moskowitz scored for the Dukes, while Zev Podolski claimed a goal for the Golden Hawks. Scoring opened midway through the first period as the Dukes took the first point of the game. Neither team gave ground again though until the second period, where the Dukes and the Golden Hawks quickly claimed a goal each with about a minute of play between them. The two teams remained in close contention until the third period, where two back to back goals by Edward Moskowitz in under 30 seconds secured a commanding lead for the Dukes and let them bring home the win.
