A pedestrian was rushed to the hospital after getting hit by a car Thursday evening on a Dauphin County street, police said. Middletown police said an under the influence driver struck the pedestrian around 6:35 p.m. on the 200 block of East Main Street. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital, police said, but their condition is unknown Friday morning.
Police did not immediately release the driver’s identity, but said they are charged with DUI, drug and traffic offenses.Check back with PennLive for updates.
