Police arrested an intoxicated North Royalton man Oct. 6 after he fell asleep behind the steering wheel of a car stopped on the Interstate 71 southbound exit ramp at Snow Road. Also, a wanted Cleveland man was arrested Oct. 2 outside Victory Packaging on Snow.

Police knocked on the car window, and the man awoke, appearing to be disoriented. He immediately drove into the side of the police cruiser in front of his car.The man told police he was coming from home, which he wrongly stated was in Middleburg Heights, and was headed to his parents’ home in Middleburg Heights. Then he changed his story, saying, “I live in New York Heights.”He smelled like alcohol and admitted to drinking “a couple of bourbons.
When police arrived, the men were walking along Snow. Police advised the men to leave and never return. Police received a call about the man stumbling around the parking lot. When police arrived, he was inside GetGo, trying to use the store’s phone.The man identified himself and said a warrant had been issued for his arrest. Police confirmed that the man was wanted in Brook Park.
