If you take Durham Region Transit , you’re going to be paying more beginning July 1.
Fares are going up and the transit agency says it’s “to continue to enhance the value of public transit for customers.” They also say it’s part of their 10-year strategy to invest in service enhancements, introduce electrification and offer new facilities and amenities.Seniors : $2.20 Single-ride cash fares, including debit and credit payments, will increase to $.35 for adults and youth and to $3.20 for seniors.
