Water in Hill Country has a limited supply, and while the Edwards Aquifer is able to recharge quickly due to its limestone structure, other water sources are not so flexible.
Vista Ridge isn’t the only cause of depressurization, just the largest, Westbrook said. Every well pumping from this formation contributes to the problem.
