Great work by police!
A driver has been arrested in connection with multiple offences after failing to stop for police in Preston and refusing to take a roadside drug test. Officers initially stopped a silver Nissan Micra on Stanley Street before the driver fled the scene.
The car was then boxed in by police a mile away on North Road. Once stopped the driver failed to provide a drugs wipe at the roadside and was arrested and taken into custody. In the early hours of this morning Lancs Road Police took to Twitter to share what happened, the tweeted: “This Nissan Micra was stopped initially on Stanley Street, Preston by #HO30 before failing to stop. The vehicle was pursued before being boxed in on North Road. The driver failed to provide on a @DrugWipeUK and has been arrested for multiple offences.”
