The driver of the SUV died on scene and troopers said no one else was in the vehicle. The driver of the motor home was brought to a hospital with minor injuries, troopers said.
The Parks Highway closed for about three hours as troopers investigated and cleared vehicles from the road.The name of the driver killed in the collision was expected to be released after notification of next of kin and a positive identification from the Medical Examiner’s Office, troopers said.Tess Williams is a reporter for the Anchorage Daily News, focusing on breaking news.
