Driver arrested after fleeing scene of two crashes

THUNDER BAY — A 39-year-old faces several charges after allegedly fleeing the scene of multiple collisions last week while driving impaired.

Police said the first incident happened on Arthur Street East, when the suspect vehicle collided with another one stopped at the red light. The suspect vehicle then drove through a red light. The vehicle was subsequently seen driving erratically, including when it stopped at a green light at Waterloo Street South and Victoria Avenue East.
