Two infamous fighters, Jiren the Gray and Broly the Legendary Super Saiyan are going head to head in Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultra God Mission. These two titans both proved too strong for Goku alone, so how will they fare against each other?
There are no shortage of burly, over-muscled meatheads duking it out in high-intensity martial arts battles in Dragon Ball, but Super Dragon Ball Heroes may be giving fans the most ridiculous matchup of them all. At the end of Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultra God Mission chapter 1, there was a teaser for one of Dragon Ball’s most anticipated fights of all time. Jiren the Gray is going to be taking on the original Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan.
The Broly featured in Super Dragon Ball Heroes is more or less akin to the Broly from the film Dragon Ball Z: Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan. This version of Broly has also fought Vegito many times and possesses the power to transform into a Super Saiyan 4. Jiren may actually be stronger than Super Saiyan Blue Vegito, but Broly’s rampant fury and constantly increasing power may prove difficult to overcome if left unchecked.
The Pride Trooper Jiren is infamous for waiting until the very last second to do anything while participating in the Tournament of Power. He allowed the berserker Kale to rampage for quite some time until he acted against her, and even then refused to eliminate her entirely. Jiren’s cocky attitude in Dragon Ball Super could undoubtedly lead him to a massive defeat against Broly, who has been shown time and time again to thrive in drawn-out battles.
As soon as he appeared in the Dragon Ball Super manga, Jiren was the top dog out of every single fighter present at the Tournament of Power. When Broly unleashed his Legendary Super Saiyan form in front of the Z-Fighters, he completely mopped the floor with them. Both of these fighters have a history of dominance and stand out as some of the most tenacious and brutal fighters in all of Dragon Ball history.
