“It is really about the experience for the fan,” he said. “If you’re looking to bet on a Wednesday afternoon, you don’t necessarily have to come here, but if you are looking for an experience, whether you’re at the tournament, playing a round of golf or you just want to come out on a Friday or Saturday night or on a Sunday and watch the games with your friends, we are hoping this becomes something that is a complement to people’s online betting experience.
“We are here for a reason,” Monahan said. “This is the first. We want to make sure this works and works in a way that creates a great experience for those people who are coming down here and it is working every single day of the year. We’ll take the findings here and as opportunities present themselves, we’ll consider them.
