Stocks fell on Tuesday after the market scored its best session in 6 weeks on Monday on rising optimism about a coronavirus vaccine. Here's how the major averages performed: - The Dow fell 390 points. - The S&P 500 lost 1.05%. - The Nasdaq fell .54%.

Bank shares fell broadly on Tuesday. Wells Fargo dropped 5.8% while Bank of America and Citigroup slid more than 2.7% each. JPMorgan dropped nearly 2%. Those losses came on the back of strong gains from Monday's session.
