Police are not releasing any details about the two deceased people.
Chilliwack RCMP responded to a report of shots being fired in the 46000-block of Chilliwack Lake Road at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
When officers arrived they discovered two people who were dead and say they were located in a ‘nearby residence’.There is no risk to the public, according to police. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has taken over the case and will be working with Chilliwack RCMP to determine what happened.
The investigation is in the evidence-gathering phase at this time and no further details are being released.
