Joe Tacopina condemned claims from GOP Senator Tim Scott that Biden had brought the criminal hush money case against Donald Trump.
Joe Tacopina, Donald Trump's former lawyer, shut down claims on Saturday from Republican Senator Tim Scott that President Joe Biden brought the criminal hush money case against the former president.
They have no jurisdiction over there, they have no contacts with them, they have no control certainly over him,' Tacopina said.He added: 'So to say that Joe Biden brought this case is one of the most ridiculous things I've heard. We know that's not the case, and even Trump's lawyers know that is not the case.'Newsweek has reached out to Scott's office, Trump's spokesperson and the White House via email for comment.
