A kitchen party is March 3, 8-10 p.m., at the Acadian Musical Village, Abram-Village, featuring Danalee Lynch. Admission is $5 at the door for this adults-only event. A Chase the Ace draw will be held at 9:15 p.m. Winsloe United Church Winter Series Fundraiser ceilidh is March 5, 2-4 p.m. Host Eddy Quinn and the house band of David Berrigan, Brian Langille and Judy Lowe welcome special guests Tip Er Back, along with guest drummer and vocals Billy Matthews. The church is wheelchair accessible. There will be coffee, tea and cold drinks at intermission. Admission is $15 at the door which opens at 1:30 p.m.
Dunstaffnage Community Centre Ceilidh is March 5, 7 p.m., hosted by Roadmasters Band with guest entertainers Elaine O’Connor, Winnie Murphy Cantelo, Raymond Cantelo and Lou Doiron. Admission is $10. The centre is located at Civic #13529, St. Peter’s Road, Dunstaffnage.
Goodnight Moon will be presented by the P.E.I. Symphony Orchestra on March 5, 2:30 p.m., in the Sobey Theatre of Confederation Centre of the Arts. There will be a pre-concert talk at 1:30 p.m. Karem J. Simon takes up the baton as the guest conductor, leading the orchestra through works by Bizet, Beethoven, Champagne and more. The concert will also feature vocalists Hannah O'Donnell and Jillian Clow performing a variety of classic operatic repertoire.
Liam Corcoran and his band are at the Trailside Music Hall on Kent Street in Charlottetown, March 9, 8 p.m.Copper Bottom Presents: Catherine MacLellan, March 11 in Montague. This is a 19-plus event. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. For information, contact the venue. Tickets are available for purchase in the taproom, online via Eventbrite, or at the door.
