So instead of waiting two months for the next major, in less than a month, a star-studded field will descend on the legendary Black Course at Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, N.Y., for the 101st PGA Championship, May 16-19.When the 2002 U.S. Open was held at Bethpage Black, Woods was also coming off a win in the Masters earlier that year.
Woods will once again attempt to win the first two grand slam events in a calendar year -- but do it 17 years later.
