Tyreek Hill wants to make 2023 his own Y2K.
The Miami Dolphins’ top receiver predicted on his podcast that he will set the NFL’s single-season receiving record this season by becoming the first to top 2,000 yards.“I will break 2,000 yards next year, bro,” Hill. “2,000 yards was on my bucket list to get before I leave this league … 2,000 yards and another Super Bowl — we getting that. Believe that.”
On the other, Hill has to share the ball with another top receiver and an improved cast of supporting receivers, his pursuit is subject to derailment by injury to quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, and he is under NFL investigation. If nothing else, Hill certainly proved in his first year with the Dolphins that his success is not a by-product of playing with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
