Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey will undergo knee surgery and is expected to miss the start of the regular season after sustaining an injury in training camp, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
later reported Ramsey had sustained a meniscus injury and will have to miss six to eight weeks. Doctors will also reportedly have to decide whether to remove Ramsey's meniscus or repair it, with an even longer recovery still possible.
The injury occurred during Ramsey's second day of training camp on Thursday, with the practice coming to a halt as he was carted off the field to the locker room, according to NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe.
