A Stockton, California, dog has finally been reunited with her owners—12 years after she first went missing.
Upon checking for a microchip, though, the officer discovered that the dog, named Zoey, had actually been reported missing from the city of Lafayette, California, in 2010. The San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office said that Zoey was listed as"deceased" by the microchip company because she had been missing for so many years.
