. Officers say a 13-year-old was bitten by a small black and white dog while walking along Beech Close.
A 50-year-old was said to be with the dog. He is described as a white male with a white beard and was wearing a black top and blue ripped jeans.A spokesperson for Lancashire Constabulary said: "We are appealing for any information in relation to an incident which occurred on Friday 30th December 2022 whereby a thirteen-year-old male was bitten by a small black and white dog whilst walking along Beech Close in Oswaldtwistle.
"The individual accompanying the dog is described as white male, approximately fifty years of age, white beard, wearing a black top and blue ripped jeans." Anyone with any information can contact 101 quoting LC-20221230-0909 or alternatively can email [email protected].
