LOS ANGELES — The Dodgers have built a four-game lead in the National League West despite relying on a starting rotation featuring three rookies that has produced a collective 4.68 ERA, 22nd in the majors.
“The long and short is the only thing I know at this point is that our mindset is to be aggressive and we have a lot of depth in our system, which is a helpful thing.” “If there are then we’ll be extremely aggressive. If they aren’t, then obviously we’ll be a little more price-sensitive,” Friedman said. “That part of how many difference-makers vs. floor-raisers are available is hard to say at this point.”Infielder Gavin Lux joined the Dodgers in Texas and for this homestand as he continues his recovery from knee surgery this spring.
