Only mistaken official's whistle and a cell phone stopped DJ Moore as he piled up eight catches, 230 yards and three TDs.
DJ Moore's cell phone rang and it stopped him from talking during his postgame press conference Thursday as he answered.
"This morning I was nervous, out of this world nervous, so I guess that was my body telling me we were about to go off," Moore said."So I look forward to having some more nervous days before games." As good as it was, it could have been even better. He had a 32-yard catch along the right sideline that led to a 43-yard fourth-quarter Cairo Santos field goal but a touchdown there could have all but salted away the win. It appeared he wasn't close to the sideline but the officials blew the whistle and said he was out. Once the whistle was blown, the play was over.
