Banffchella is back for a second summer. The hotel poolside party includes colourful art installations, crafted cocktails and a weekend DJ.
Up on the terrace, a colourful hut called 13 Below serves beer, cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks and handmade ice cream. Try the pistachio or a champagne float for an extravagant taste of summer or check out the new, locally-made, Wildlife Rundle Gin and Tonic. Crafted by Fairmont’s regional mixologist Sam Clark, this pre-mixed drink contains the Rundle Bar’s signature blue gin accompanied by a yuzu and lime twist.

Rent an onsite scooter and live out your Italian dreams or try one of the e-bikes from the hotel’s Adventure Centre. Better yet, sign up there for a guided cycle/hike to Sundance Canyon.
Rent a bike or take an e-bike tour along the Bow River from Banff Springs Hotel to Sundance Canyon where you can opt for a short but vigorous loop hike.Once you reach the canyon, you’ll ditch the bikes and lace up for a beautiful hike through the narrow canyon. The 2-km loop trail is rated as moderately challenging as it has some elevation gain and, if you hike it clockwise, requires some careful navigation through some steep boulders.

In the shaded forest path, you’ll find the Art in Nature Trail on both sides of the Bow River.
