Disgusted Aldi shoppers say popular 65p sauce 'tastes like mud'
Aldi customers say they have been left disgusted after eating a popular sauce from the budget supermarket which tasted like 'mud'. Disgruntled shoppers have taken aim at the store's Cucina Bolognese pasta sauce for ruining their dinners.
They were met with a flood of comments from others claiming to have had a similarly bad experience with the budget product, reports MyLondon. The original post on the Aldi UK Facebook page read: "Just cooked dinner and it has a funny taste to it! One shopper agreed, commenting: "Me, it tastes like mud! I wasted a whole meal yesterday as I didn’t realise until I’d put it in." Another wrote: "My daughter loves this sauce for Bolognese … I made this Saturday and we both couldn't eat it for that exact reason it had a awful taste to it."
