In an email sent out via the organization's newsletter on Wednesday, the statement of Kaunas' departure can be read in full here:While Kaunas is gone, HSHA states that Director of Operations, Aspasia Yeager, will serve as the non-profit's interim executive director.
The Humane Society says that a national search has been conducted to find a more full time executive director. We will make it our top priority to identify a candidate who has extensive experience and a tremendous track record of service to the care of animals.
