'You were rude, obnoxious and your overall behaviour was shameful' 🤬
Owners of an Italian restaurant in Blackpool have hit back at a 'rude' customer a second time after they posted two damning reviews.
One recent guest wrote: "We walked in around 6pm and got one of the last tables available. All our food came out super fast, hot, fresh and tasty. Perfect portion sizes, enough to fill you up but not so much that you end up overeating! The staff were extremely polite and friendly. When we return to Blackpool we will be sure to visit La Fontana again. Grazie Mille!"
But it seems that the feeling isn't mutual between all diners. One previous guest who visited in November 2022 was so disappointed with their interaction with the team, they left two 'terrible' reviews. The first was a complaint over the size and price of the meals. "The lady that has managed the upstairs restaurant for 10+ years has never refused to serve a table until your group on Saturday evening. You were rude, condescending and intimidating to our staff. We serve the highest quality local produce and import the finest Italian ingredients. The pizza dough is made fresh daily by Mateo, our Italian Pizza Chef.
They wrote for the second time: "Many thanks for your response to our original post regarding our poor experience, it is disappointing to see you have adopted a defensive position rather than apologise. Your comment ‘the lady has managed the upstairs restaurant for 10+ years’, is not appropriate to the context of our complaint and furthermore, length of service does not by any means justify our experience or mean it did not happen.
