The disgruntled punter penned a scathing review - despite only having to pay for one glass of wine
An unhappy diner has slammed "cold" food and a dish "like rubber" from an Edinburgh eatery - despite only having to pay for one glass of in. The customer said the "underwhelming" meal at Cafe Andaluz in late December was "not authentic or fresh".
It reads: “Went for tapas on our last night in Edinburgh and were completely underwhelmed. Ordered five dishes, they were not authentic, not freshly prepared, calamari like rubber, all dishes served cold apart from meat and cheese. Felt like they had all been shop bought. The customer service team at Cafe Andaluz said the following day: “Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I am sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your visit, but I am glad that this was recognised by the manager and we were able to amend the bill to reflect your experience.”
