Ex-Yankees ace Luis Severino has been better-than-advertized with the Mets
. So it must have been a surprise to him that after the worst season of his career in 2023, they decided to let him walk.
“No. For me, I understand that it’s the system, At the end of the day, this is a business,” Severino told NJ Advance Media. “I’m very grateful for everything they did for me because I am Luis Severino because of them.
