The development of 166 homes near downtown San Jose has taken a big leap ahead with a series of property deals that have enabled two real estate firms to build the project at a choice site.
The Pacific Cos. and Maracor Development have teamed up to develop the project at 802 S. First St., which is just south of the city’s downtown district, according to documents on file with Santa Clara County and San Jose city officials.
