Dev Patel, Ralph Fiennes, and Ben Kingsley will join Benedict Cumberbatch in Wes Anderson's adaptation of Roald Dahl's The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar and Six More.
Dev Patel, Ralph Fiennes, and Ben Kingsley have been cast in Wes Anderson's adaptation of Roald Dahl's short story collection The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar and Six More. The film is among the first Dahl adaptations announced since Netflix purchased the author's vast catalog — which includes classics like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Matilda — last year in the streamer's biggest acquisition to date.
THR reports that Dev Patel and Ralph Fiennes are the newest additions, along with Oscar winner Ben Kingsley. While it's unclear what roles they'll have in the film, Patel and Kingsley are newcomers to Anderson's usual stable of A-list collaborators that includes Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, and Tilda Swinton. Fiennes previously collaborated with Anderson for The Grand Budapest Hotel. Filming is expected to kick off this month in the U.K.
