Barcelona outcast Memphis Depay has reportedly made Manchester United his preferred destination in the transfer window.
In the summer, the 28-year-old will see his contract expire and there appears to be no offer on the table from Barcelona – meaning it is very likely that the forward could leave at the end of the season, or even in January if a decent offer comes in., Depay has made up his mind over where he wants to go – deciding a return to United is his best option.The Red Devils have been linked with the Dutchman this month as they look to sign a striker that would not cost mega-bucks.
United are on the lookout for a striker after Cristiano Ronaldo had his contract ripped up following an explosive interview with Piers Morgan last month, where he took shots at the club, the Glazers and Ten Hag.
But the Dutch manager failed to get the best out of his compatriot at Old Trafford, where he scored just twice in the Premier League across 33 appearances.
