Denis Savard congratulated Patrick Kane for passing him in second-most assists in franchise history after Sunday’s game.
After the game, Savard recorded a congratulatory message to Kane via the Blackhawks official Facebook page. Here's what Savard had to say to the future Hall-of-Famer:
"Kaner, congratulations. I know how hard it is to get there. Been there and done that. And obviously with the career that you've had so far, it's been so great to see you achieve so many records in the organization and around the league. One thing for sure, most impressive is that you have many, many more years to play. We're so lucky to have you. I know our fans appreciate the way you play, what you've done here for this organization. So, enjoy your night.
